Our physical education teacher, Ms. Norma Johnson, sends a message to all parents:
“Hello everyone! I pray that you and your family are safe. I know that this ‘stay at home’ order is making us all a little stir crazy, but it is important that we all follow the orders that our government has put in place.
“With that being said, it’s important that children as well as us adults keep our bodies moving. I have listed below a few things that can be done thought out the day.
“You can use any one of your devices to log on and keep your body moving. If none of these interests you, that’s fine, there are tons on the Web, just search ‘kids home work outside.’ As long as you are getting up from the computer screen or TV’s and being a little active each day.
“Stay safe and well until we meet again!
P.S. You can always just take a walk around the block. (Make sure you are practicing social distancing.)”

Hello, St. Pius Family!
If you know Ms. Adolf, our 7th-grade teacher, you know that she loves books and loves to read! She reminds us that now is a great time to read and even to go back and re-read some of our favorite books.
Ms. A is starting a “Community Read-Aloud” this week. She invites everyone to read the first chapter of their favorite book and share the video with us. Or you can read an entire picture book and share that!
What is one of Ms. A’s favorite books? Watch this video and find out! And then share your favorite book with us!
Happy reading, everyone! #PiusPrideTogether

Good morning, St. Pius V School family!
We send a big hug to all our parents out there who are making the best of a challenging situation! It is not easy to keep young children busy and engaged throughout the day. It also takes time to adjust to the very new situation we are living in during these historic days. Please be gentle with yourselves, Parents, and do the best you can with whatever home situation you are in!
Reminder to students, especially our middle school students, please keep in touch with your teachers through email. Your grade level web pages are available here: https://saintpiusv.org/pride/
We wish everyone a safe and healthy day!
