Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we all adjust to the realities of our new situation during this very difficult time.  We are providing some guidance as we continue our e-learning, please see the documents linked below.  Our teachers are working diligently to ensure that their students are continuing to get high quality instruction while learning how to implement unfamiliar techniques.

We will continue to follow the guidance of the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools as to the duration of the closure.  At this time an end date has not been identified.  We will keep you updated as we become aware of new information.

Again, thank you for your patience and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out.  Continue to check our website and our facebook page for updates, ideas, and support as we continue our e-learning adventure.  We continue to pray for the health and safety of all of our families.

Hello, St. Pius Family!

If you know Ms. Adolf, our 7th-grade teacher, you know that she loves books and loves to read! She reminds us that now is a great time to read and even to go back and re-read some of our favorite books.

Ms. A is starting a “Community Read-Aloud” this week. She invites everyone to read the first chapter of their favorite book and share the video with us. Or you can read an entire picture book and share that!

What is one of Ms. A’s favorite books? Watch this video and find out! And then share your favorite book with us!

Happy reading, everyone! #PiusPrideTogether

March 20, 2020

Good morning, St. Pius V School family!

We send a big hug to all our parents out there who are making the best of a challenging situation! It is not easy to keep young children busy and engaged throughout the day. It also takes time to adjust to the very new situation we are living in during these historic days. Please be gentle with yourselves, Parents, and do the best you can with whatever home situation you are in!

Reminder to students, especially our middle school students, please keep in touch with your teachers through email. Your grade level web pages are available here:

We wish everyone a safe and healthy day!
