Illinois Tax Credit Scholarships
The applications for the “Invest in Kids” Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship will open soon! Big Shoulders Fund will be a Scholarship Granting Organization and has been approved to award Tax Credit Scholarships in our area. Their application process will open on January 22nd at 8:00 a.m. Before April 1, 2018, priority will be given to families who earn less than 185% of the federal poverty level or reside in a focus group. After April 1, 2018, scholarships will be awarded on a first-com, first serve basis to all eligible families. Scholarships could cover between 50 to 100 percent of tuition. If your child receives free or reduced school lunches, your family may be eligible for Comcast’s Internet Essentials program. This program offers home internet service for just $9.95 a month! This is an excellent opportunity to provide internet access for your child for a very low cost. If you do not have a computer, Comcast is offering low-cost computers for just $149.99! ACT Aspire – Understanding Your ACT Aspire Results

Math Online Resources
Khan Academy has a variety of lessons with video tutorials about math concepts. Students have an opportunity to practice these concepts with instant feedback.
ck12 is a website that has a variety of math concepts that students can practice. There are also adaptive practice activities that can be used to check for understanding.
IXL has limited free trials you can use to practice specific math concepts.
